The Polonaise Skirt in Silk Dupion

The perfect occasion skirt. Low rise, suggestively balancing atop the hip. At the waist, there's a subtle V-Line detail, and a voluminous bubble hem to finish. All stitches are concealed within the garment: both the waistband and hem are invisible when worn, giving the charming impression of a floating bundle of pure raw silk. Inside, there’s an internal grosgrain ribbon waistband, the favoured waist finishing technique at many haute couture ateliers, and a mid-weight satin lining. Fastens with an invisible zipper. This luxurious silk softens over time.
