We often work with luxury deadstock fabrics that are limited by nature. This is the final opportunity to Pre-Order the Day Dress in Carmine, using the last remaining meterage of this Japanese-milled satin. We thank you for joining our exercise in resourceful, careful design.

A delightful dress with deeply scooped neckline and sweet cap sleeves. The full skirt is gathered with three rows of an Elizabethan Era hand sewing technique called Cartridge Pleating, which creates exceptionally delicate, deep, uniform miniature pleats; impossible to replicate by machine. The skirt is hand stitched to the bodice, and features an inbuilt petticoat for volume and added movement. Cut from a luxury deadstock Japanese satin with a beautiful liquid drape. Fully lined with smooth satin. Fastens with an invisible zipper.

The Day Dress is a tailored garment with no stretch. Take your standard size, but expect a firm fit through the bust. Jeet is 174cm tall and pictured in XS.

Outer 82% Acetate, 18% Polyester. Lining 100% Polyester. Lining sourced from one of Australia’s oldest continuously family-owned textile traders, with more than six decades in business.

Dry Clean only. Fabric sensitive to heat. Do not iron. Do not steam outer. Steam lining only.
