The Miniskirt in Merino Wool Twill

The perfect go-to miniskirt, as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. Medium rise, sitting just above the hip, with subtle A-Line flare. Cut slightly longer at the back for extra coverage. An extra-wide hem, sewn with a near-invisible blind hem stitch, deliberately adds a little weight to help the skirt drape beautifully. Inside, there’s an internal Petersham ribbon waistband — the favoured waist finishing technique at many haute couture ateliers— and a mid-weight satin lining. Fastens with an invisible zipper.

The Miniskirt is a style intended to sit just above the hip and skim over the hips. Take your usual size. For a more low rise fit, select one size up. Jeet is pictured in XS.

We always seek to enhance the quality of our offering. For this favourite style, we've upgraded to a 100% natural fibre: pure Merino wool. This new twill fabric has a softer, more organically textured finish and darker lowlights than the earlier edition.

The current edition uses a 100% Merino wool twill suiting, woven in England by the prestigious, family-owned Alfred Brown Worsted Mills

Earlier editions of The Miniskirt used an upcycled deadstock suiting of 54% Polyester, 44% Virgin Wool, and 2% Elastane.
